COVID-19 Info

Dear visitor.
In the light of the covid 19 pandemic we have to make certain changes as to how we organise our business around our visitors. The following points are the new procedures when visiting the farm and are in place for us all to feel safe during your visit.
1) Initially, we can only accept visitors who have booked to visit the farm. You can book by telephone on 02820762576. The phone will be available from 9.00 am – 6.00pm daily from 29th june onwards.
2) We can only accept a certain number of visitors at any time, so we have introduced a number of time slots… 10.30am -12.30, 1.00pm – 3.00pm, 3.30–5.30pm. Please do not arrive before the end of the previous slot.
3) We would ask you to be on time and to leave within your time slot.

4) We would encourage you to carry hand sanitizer and/or wipes for your party. We will of course bw constantly cleaning and sanitising. We will have hand washing and sanitizing stations all around the farmyard at each activity etc and you must adhere to the requests to use them.

5) Children must always be accompanied by an adult especially when visiting the toilets. We now have 2 separate toilet blocks for male and female to ease congestion and help maintain distancing.

6) The Activity barn, the assault course the play park, the monster slide and the small animal barn will not be available at this time so sadly there will be no holding of any small animals.

7) There will be one-way system in operation for most of the farmyard and we would remind you to stay at least 1m apart from non-family members.

8) The tearoom will only be available for carryout teas/coffees and traybakes and we would encourage you to bring a suitable covering for a picnic table. We have created more picnic tables around the farm and also within the Activity Barn (which is not being used)

9) There are certain activities which may have a queue, i.e Paddiwagon, Quad Train, Pony Rides. We have ensured there is lots of room to queue at these activities.

10) Our staff will all be wearing face masks and we would ask that you are mindful of the fact they will not always be able to social distance. There will also be sanitising stations at each Activity.

11) You will of course be able to walk around the farm as normal and take part in the activities as normal

12) Pony trekking may not be available every day so please ask when booking.

13) While we do have card facilities it will not be possible to use your card for all purchases, so we recommend you bring some cash with you.

14) When travelling to Watertop please use the actual address of 188 Cushendall Rd Ballycastle, Bt54 6RN for your satnav

We are of course sorry we have to have these measures in place but as the summer progresses, hopefully some aspects can be relaxed, and we hope it won’t take away the enjoyment of your visit to Watertop.
Stay safe and we hope to see you at Watertop this July and August.
