COVID19 Camping

Dear visitor with the ongoing pandemic , Watertop will also have restrictions in place to keep our visitors, staff and our family safe.
Camping /Caravans.
Camping will open 20th July Caravans will open 10th July
Only individual tents /caravans will be permitted. Ie. You cannot book for two tents or two caravans
We will be spacing out tents and caravans to assist with distancing which will mean fewer pitches available.
No socialising with other caravan/tents.
To give more people an opportunity to stay at Watertop, maximum 3 night stay if high demand for particular dates.
Social distancing must be observed at toilet/showers etc.. We have reopened our original toilet block to help reduce queuing.
It is your responsibility to wash your hands and sanitize when entering and leaving toilets/showers etc, and to maintain 2m distancing where possible. Caravans should use their own toilets as much as possible. Showers should only be used if you really need to.
Children will not be permitted around the farmyard unaccompanied by an adult. They should not be at the toilets or showers without an adult.
They too must use the hand sanitizer when required.

The Activity Barn, the Assault Course, the Play park and the Small Animal Barn and museum will not be available at this time. Which sadly means there will be no animals to hold.
The tea room will only be serving tea/coffee and traybakes to take out. This may change as things settle down but still a carry out service only.
Where possible you must keep to the 2m rule when around the farmyard.
During the day when the farm is open you must follow the same routes and procedures as the day visitors.
The only buildings you may enter in the evening are the campers toilet and shower block. No one may enter the Small Animal Barn/Shearing Shed/Museum, Assault Course or Play Park etc.
You should always have a certain amount of cash with you as it may not always be possible to pay by card.
As you can imagine this is not how we would normally want to welcome campers to the farm but I’m sure you appreciate these measures and rules are to protect our staff, our family and you, our visitors.
As this is a changing situation, these procedures may change throughout the summer. If they do change, we will ofcourse update this information.
Please read the general covid 19 measures for all visitors.
Stay safe
